Addiction Breaker ("the app") helps you quit bad habits in 90 days. This policy explains, in plain language, what data it uses and why.

Who we are

The essentials

• You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
• Your journal, reasons, habits and progress are stored only on your phone. We don't upload them to any server.
• No ads, no selling data, and no third-party tracking or analytics tools.

Data that leaves your phone

1. Psico AI (only if you use it). When you message the assistant, your message and a summary of your journey (program day, habit, phase, reasons and action plan) are sent to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) solely to generate the reply. We don't store your conversations on our server. Anthropic acts as a data processor and, under its commercial terms, does not use this data to train its models. We ask for your permission before you use it for the first time.

2. Community and leaderboard. To show how many people are doing the challenge and your rank, the app sends a random ID generated on your phone, your current streak and whether you want to appear on the leaderboard. We don't send your nickname or any habit data. Others only see a randomly generated anonymous name and your days.

3. Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. To know whether you have Pro we use RevenueCat, which receives a random app ID and the store receipt.

4. Technical data. Our server runs on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address temporarily to deliver content and prevent abuse (for example, a daily message limit).

Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service you request (assistant, community, purchases): performance of a contract.
• Using AI with data about your journey: your consent, which you can withdraw by no longer using the assistant.
• Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.

International transfers

Anthropic, RevenueCat and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the US), with the safeguards required by the GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Retention

• Data on your phone: until you delete it (in the app: You → Delete all my data) or uninstall the app.
• Community: deleted when you use "Delete all my data" or after 120 days without opening the app.
• Assistant usage counters: 1 day.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to cuisineofseo@gmail.com. Since we don't have your name or email, we may ask for the ID shown in the app to find your data. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

The app is for adults 18 and over only.

Health

Addiction Breaker is a support tool. It doesn't diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for a professional. If you're in danger, call your local emergency number (911 US, 999/112 UK/EU), 988 in the US or Samaritans on 116 123 in the UK and Ireland.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll say so in the app and update the date above.
